Don’t Miss the Blessing

Be Relentless

I heard this scripture:

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12

Relentless: describes something (or someone) that is harsh, unforgiving, and persistent, continuing in a determined way without stopping or easing up in severity. It implies maintaining intense speed or rigor, often used to describe pressures, pursuits, or natural conditions.

Synonyms: Persistent, unyielding, tenacious, incessant, unremitting, adamant, dogged, unrelenting, unbending.
Antonyms: Merciful, yielding, flexible, intermittent, moderate, surrendering, soft. God did not struggle creating Heaven. He knew exactly how He wanted it to be, and what purpose it would serve. Heaven is to shadow or protect God’s Glory. It is a vault for God’s love. The love of God is a precious jewel and commodity. God’s love has supernatural protected from sin.

God’s abundant Glory is blinding to natural eyes. Before sin – God connected with man (Adam) having contact. Adam was contaminated by sin. He no longer had the privilege of God’s personal communion and fellowship. God’s Glory is protected.

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. 14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. 16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. 17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. 18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. Exodus 33:13-23

22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Genesis 3:22-24

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 42:8

Lucifer started a fight in Heaven. The fight started by his jealousy and envy against God. Sin entered into Heaven that made him become enraged. Lucifer was tormented by God’s glory and authority. His mistake was to equated beauty and fierceness with God’s Glory – not the same thing.

Satan gave definition and meaning to the word stupid. All of Heaven suffered through the violent acts of Satan. Heaven felt pity for a creature that dared to go against the King of Kings. Violence took place where God stood. Satan and his followers could not take Heaven – so they took their will and used it against God.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:7-10

Make no mistake. Satan could not take Heaven! He cannot take down God’s Word or His promises. Satan CANNOT take down Eternal Life given to us by the Father.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. John 6:51-58

The Lord is telling us to be “Relentless” in taking down the kingdom of darkness. Use takedown tactics – be “Relentless” over strongholds of the devil. God is not saying beat up people or use hoodlum methods. The Lord is demanding that we use His Word against the devil!

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:10-11

Don’t Miss the Blessing

The Lord is advising people to look at Him as “He IS”. Look at the works He has already done. We do not have to wonder if Jesus is the Christ. There is no need to ask is the Messiah come! His works precede Him. The Lord is simply saying, “Spread the Gospel”. He will identify Himself. The blessing comes when the Messiah is not denied!

1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. 2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? 4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. Matthew 11:1-6
