Speak the Word

I heard the Lord Say,

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: James 1:19

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:7

And the Lord Says

So many people are living by – being quick, having things instant, and readily at hand. Be careful children!

Once Eve ate of the forbidden food it was too late. My first people deliberately disobeyed an order and command.

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 2:16-17

The entire course of human life was changed by My people (Adam and Eve) wanting something instant.

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Genesis 3:1-6

My children you are living in the last days – your decisions, choices, and speech is crucial in these hours.

Be careful what you say! Be careful what you do. Be aware that the devil is lurking seeking whom he may devour.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

Children you are coming into covenant agreement with the devil by what you say. Your words are giving satan permission to call you his soldier. James 3:1-10

5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. James 3:5-6

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8

Do not be in League with the devil.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:5-7

Children this is My Word for you today:

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:19-27

My Thoughts

The Lord is telling us that sin lieth at the door. Do not leave a key at the front door. Satan knows to look under the mat. Ephesians 4:21-27

Our worlds are frame by how we speak and act. Words have power. An action or result follows everything man speaks. I Kings 17:1-24

Words can be faithless or full of faith. Words and actions decide if we become a slave to sin – or servants of God’s prosperity. Romans 1:16-20

I love an instruction from The Father. We have a constant companion and teacher in the Holy Spirit. John 14:15-18

Utilize the free gifts from the Lord – Mercy, Grace, Peace, His Written, and Spoken Word. 2 Peter 1:1-11

We can never go wrong when speaking the Word of God. Build your hope on things eternal.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. James 1:13-15
