When advise is needed – make sure to receive Godly counsel not gossip or opinions. The Lord has already prepared someone to listen to your cause. Pray before speaking your situation. Spiritual warfare may cause a person to see mirages. When smoke settles things may not be bad as they appear.
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6
Change your hearing atmosphere. Filter everything through the Word of God. Good ideas may not always be God ideas. Choose your listening material wisely.
Look closely at things that seem out of order. The Lord may be showing a person’s character or posture that needs correction.
Learn to walk away from fights that seem just. Other people’s battles are often a distract from God’s ordain purpose for your life.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety. Proverbs 11:14
