The Lord God of Israel says,
Peace is something I give. No man can claim My peace. Humans must obey to find and be covered in this peace. No man can truthfully say, “I called peace to fall upon a nation”.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
Many pretend they want peace. No one can have have peace without My love. Surely daughter – many use the word “Peace” to command attention.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known. 13 But now faith, hope, and love remain–these three. The greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:11-13
But I tell you peace cannot be a symbol or a sign. Peace cannot be copied or imitated. Peace cannot be painted on a building or glass jar and work.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:2-3
Peace must be alive and active. Love activates peace. Love gives knowledge and wisdom. Love births peace – it has no legs or arms and it cannot move without truth.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:7-12
If you want a sign or symbol for peace – think of the Cross and My shed blood. So many try to take credit for what I did. I made peace personal when I said, – “MY peace I give not as the world gives”.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:16-21
