The world has a habit of asking, “What do you want to be when you grow up”.
They overlook who we already are – as if that is not important. We are made in God’s image and after His likeness.
No matter what age we accept Christ – that makes us God’s children for life.
We may change on the outside – but inwardly we are seeds of love, grace, hope, and faith.
We are always growing by things the Lord put in us. Actually, we never grow up because we keep growing in Him!
My answer is I want to be saved and live in eternity with Jesus.
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:1-3
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:2-7
