1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Psalm 127:1-2
Works do not save us but – most definitely, our works shall judge us as God keeps in line with His Holy Word. Supreme Court decisions have no role and can offer no opinion – when people stand before The Living God for “Justice”.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalm 119:160
Every Christian has God’s Word working on their behalf. We are commanded to study the Word of God and wear it like a garment.
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2 Timothy 2:12-16
Jesus blood protects us from the stain of sin. Jesus became a sin container. When sin spills – it does not stick to our garments. Jesus lowered Himself on the cross to suck up sin.
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 2 Corinthians 5:1-4
The Mercy of Jesus Blood Thank You Father for Your guarantee!
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
God knew Satan was a deceiver from the beginning. He tricked Adam and Eve into removing their covering. After Adam yielding to sin, (Genesis 3) He accepted God’s discipline.
Jesus blood protects us from the permanent stain of sin. His blood acts as a shield and protects us from eternal damnation. God looks at sin – then He looks at His Word. He looks at the power of Jesus blood. Nothing can over power or out rule the Promise of God.
When the Lord looks sin is in trouble. Everything has to give reverence to the Word and will of God.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:1-5
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. Psalm 138:2
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19
