Every work of Jesus led Him closer and closer to His destiny of bringing Eternal Life to all people. The Cross reflects Jesus sacrifices and unending love. By going to the Cross – Jesus demonstrated His life’s purpose.

He left a trail for men to follow. His plan includes bringing all men into Saving Grace. The Cross Experience was God’s plan for Jesus. It was meant to restore Divine Order and bring retribution to His enemies. It also gave man Eternal Life in the Kingdom of God.

It is important that we know how to follow Jesus path on earth. Many wonder what their purpose is in life. Our purpose as created beings is to accept, receive, and give God’s love.

³ for His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.2 Peter 1:3

Understanding the Cross of Christ helps us find the way to Eternal Existence with Jesus.

Jesus did not have to find His way to the Cross. The Father’s love carved out a plain path. The greatest thing of all is that Jesus surrendered to the perfect will of His Father – Suffering. Jesus denied Himself for a greater cause, You and me”.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23

The Word of God shows us how to have a God honoring posture – “All the Way to the Cross”. Thank God we do not have to die in the same manner as Jesus. Yes, Jesus suffered a horrendous death. Will our Cross experience be similar?

I do not have a scientific or Word of Knowledge answer. The real suffering comes when we try to erase or dismiss the Cross. No one can have Salvation and Eternal life without “Finding Your Way to the Cross”.
