From Failure to Success

Failure is not what we think. Failure is not the end of success. What man deems as failure is opportunity to start new beginnings.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

Surprise people – we are not going to have sunshine parties every day. God knew dark days would come. He knew Satan would be busy trying to tempt us with his latest fad . The Lord knew in advance that tragedy, disaster, and devastating things – slows His people down.

Our definition of failure – draws us back into recovery and revival with the Lord. Normally, the things we see as failure are not failure at all. Failure is man trying to operate outside his/her intended purpose. Every human has the same purpose – to cultivate a relationship with our Creator.

21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:21-26

God blew a specific amount of breathe into Adam’s nostrils. He blew just enough for him to breathe. Every time you feel short-winded ask God for His breath. We have a consistent need for “God to breathe “The Breath of Life”.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

When failure comes it is OK to admit we were using our plan.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

Know the source of your pain. Make a practice of functioning outside those boundaries. Pain has a limitation when it comes to exercising faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Prayer

Lord forgive me for calling Your plans failures. Help me to forgive myself for costly mistakes and choices. Dear Lord, forgive me for not trusting your plan. I did not trust You for knowing what is best for me. I repent.r

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16
