He Shall Wipe All Tears

My name is Mary Adger. I am empowered by God’s love. He gives me strength morning by morning to overcome and defeat darkness. I am His child through the powerful will of God.

I understand Grace through the Lord’s Mercy. I receive His love through forgiveness of sin. I am thankful and grateful even in the portions of life that I don’t understand.

When I am bothered, the Lord calms my fears. He comforts me. When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am not alone. Though a host of ten thousand should encamp against me – my heart shall not fear.

No matter where I am. No matter what I look like on the outside. No matter of my trembling heart. No matter of false accusations against me – I know the Lord is with me. If then, God be for me who can be against me?

I live in a strange land. I am never quite comfortable because I have no permanent home here on earth. I long for the presence of the Lord in Eternity. I look ahead to the day that pain exists no more.

I envision smiles and laughter in a place where no one has to prove him or herself. I so wait – for the time that no person tries to understand God but just accepts His love.

Don’t try to figure things out in a temporary situation. Release yourself from agony. Its OK not to always have the answer. Not knowing doesn’t mean that you failed.

It is OK to say, “God isn’t speaking”, instead of making up something He didn’t say. Wait with me for the return of Jesus. Wait I say on the Lord.

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:1-8
