This morning I read Exodus 24, and the Lord began speaking.

And the Lord Says,

I winked at sin for many years. I wanted My people to know I saw and heard their sin. I AM a most merciful God. People want to see Me. I allow them to see Me, yet they still disobey. Children I want you to know I do not tolerate or accept sin.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:29-31

My loving kind spirit will not always abide with man. My wrath and anger are furious. Children you do not want My fury. Why tempt ye My love?

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Romans 1:18

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Ephesians 5:6

Politics is not the bread you should eat. There will always be wicked evil kings. Wicked men crave My power in a temporary existence. Children your houses and land shall be no more.

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalm 34:8

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 24:35

With one command from Me – devastation comes upon the land. Your gold shall be washed away in the sea. Your houses will dissolve like salt. Your children shall weep and dogs will howl. Children you do not want My furious anger. I send My mercy every day. Do not neglect this gift.

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. Job 1:20-21

You ask is there any favor in the earth? You ask where has the grace of God gone. Do not tempt Me as the fathers of Israel. Be like children. Be like Saints. Be obedient.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Matthew 4:5-7

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psalm 34:14

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Romans 14:19

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14

My Thoughts

God knows every thought and intend of man’s heart. The Lord is looking at His people compromise in and with sin. He is not happy. The real “Ruler of the World” is legislating His power and authority over creation. Listen to what the Lord says.

The madness of King Saul caused many to lose their lives following a wicked king (I Samuel). Saul died in pride and rebellion. His choices and life style displeased God. The Lord warned Saul about his behavior – yet he continued in his wickedness. Let this word remind everyone that God no longer winks at sin.
