What determines right in ones life? Do people choose righteousness by how things work in their favor? By what scale does one measure rightness? Who determines if my choices are right or wrong? Is it OK what I do – if no one sees my choices? Who can truly answer these questions?

God gave man a spirit that works with character. The goal is for man to stay in God’s created image. The Lord gave Holy Spirit to guide man in the right direction. He left the Holy scriptures (Bible) for development of character and truth. The Supreme Authority of the universe determines righteousness.

The world applauds success – but remember the scripture: There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12

For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit. Ecclesiastes 2:26

Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel. Proverbs 20:17

19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. 20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he. 21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. 22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. 23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. 24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
