And the Lord Says
The human soul is something I designed for My pleasure. I delight Myself in My design.
I laugh at people when they try to figure out what I look like. Children can you really picture My face?
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Isaiah 53:7-9 (KJV)
Know this; I AM a cover – shield – and offering for sin. My wounds and scars were not pretty. My outward appearance was not a sight to behold.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Isaiah 53:10 (KJV)
Take hold of your faith children. Soon none of these worldly things will matter. What matters most of all is I thought about you in creation.
LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! Psalm 144:3 (KJV)
What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? Job 15:14 (KJV)
Whenever anyone is wondering what I look like, look at yourself. There you will find Me.
Remember truth children when you look at your brothers and sisters. Created He him/her (Man) just like God.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26-27 (KJV)
My Thoughts
I woke up this morning thinking about the dispute many have about Jesus culture.
Some say He is one color, while others say He is another color.
I spoke these words out loud, “What difference does it make what color Jesus is?” Immediately, the Lord gave me this word.
If we look at Jesus in terms of skin color, the color of His eyes, and the shape of His feet – we miss His true beauty.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. Revelation 1:12-16 (KJV)
God gave His Son to die for a sinful world.
- Jesus looks like His Word
- Jesus looks like His thoughts toward man
- Jesus looks like long suffering
- Jesus looks like forgiveness
- Jesus looks like Mercy
- Jesus looks like Grace
- Jesus looks like peace
- Jesus looks like love
Whatever the Lord looks like, He created us to look like Him. Rest assured Jesus looks like His Word.
- He looks true
- He looks honest
- He looks pure
- He looks like a good report
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 (KJV)
Use your imagination.
