When lying defeats you – there needs to be a new awareness and awakening.

  • Some lie because they have no concept of truth.
  • Some lie for popularity and standing. (To seem glamorous)
  • Some lie to abstain from trouble and stiff penalties.
  • Some lie to protect something or someone.
  • Some lie as a pattern of life (Deceit).
  • Some lie because they enjoy being busybodies and mischief-makers.
  • Some lie for convenience sake.
  • Some lie because they are of their father – the Devil.

Move away from the path of wrath. Guard your heart with all diligence.

23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Proverbs 4:23-24 (KJV)

Why is this word important children? The wrath of Satan brought him condemnation and death.

Do not be like the deceiver children. Put your trust in God – it is your shield and protection from all evil.

Lying puts My children in hard places. It is difficult to serve two masters. One will be happy and one will not.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:8 (KJV)

I listened to many lies on earth – even the lie Peter told.

33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. Matthew 26:33-35 (KJV)

Yet in his fear, Peter had remorse and redeemed himself. I used Peter mightily in The Kingdom of God.

Children know that your words have impact. (Read the entire chapter of James)

The Book of James

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20 (KJV)

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. James 3:6 (KJV)

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. James 3:8-10 (KJV)

I spoke and things came into existence. I spoke and the tunnel of life closed.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Genesis 6:13 (KJV)

And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. Genesis 6:17 (KJV)

Deception is running rampant. Man hardly knows truth anymore. Believe a lie and fall into a snare.

A man these days – will shake your right hand and use the left to stab your back.

Children move away from Satan’s agenda. He has planned to trip and make you fall in many ways.

7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Matthew 18:7-9 (KJV)

Do not be deceitful. Do not lean to your own understanding.

Follow the path I choose for My people.

When you fall – I will not be the one saying, “I told you so”. I only point My people to the word of God.

And I AM telling you,Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”. Galatians 6:7 (KJV)

The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Proverbs 12:19 (KJV)

The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death. Proverbs 21:6 (KJV)

16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16-19 (KJV)

My Thoughts

Man can get away with lying to another man – but never with the Lord.

Lies are strikes against the character of Christians. They discredit a believer’s honor.

I have never been in a situation of telling lies to save my life. And I do not condemn anyone who has.

The Lord Jesus is asking His people not to follow the path of destruction.

If this word is for you – come clean.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew 7:13 (KJV)

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 (KJV)
