• How do we publish our faith?
• Do we show faith publicly to flaunt beliefs?
• Do we walk in the arenas of unseen faith allowing the evidence of our beliefs to become visible?
• What sets us apart as Christians?
• How do we interpret God’s word?
• Is God’s word different from Jesus or is it the same?
• Do you have an answer for every man when he asks about your God?

“But sanctify The LORD God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” 1 Peter 3:15-16.

• How difficult is it to explain things that are unseen?
• What grounds and centers your belief system?

An emotional realm connects to a spiritual realm in either truth or unbelief.

Elders often spoke these words in Church during my youth, “God said it, I believe it and that is that”.

As a child, I took this statement to mean — I do not know the answer or understand what The Bible means.

I never looked at this statement to mean the person was ignorant, did not fully understand theology, or had not studied the lesson properly.

My little heart — believed they were too afraid to take Bible Scripture out of context, or say something not guided by The Holy Spirit.

The Elder’s statement gave such a reverential fear and respect of The LORD and His Holy word.

I am still very careful how I intrepid scripture . To this day, I still hear the echoes of my Elders.

As an adult, I have learned to say what — God/ Jesus/ The Holy Ghost says….. and because They said it — I believe it!

In this life I may not be able to satisfy or quench every man’s thirst in Philosophy, Theology, or the ravings of a madman.

One thing for sure I carry this word in my heart:

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8.

I am convinced that some people seek controversy not comfort. They are not satisfied until they cause another person to squirm at their doctrines.

Others wear fear as a shawl to the degree that truth has no meaning in their situations.

Another group of people exist — that trauma, devastation, turmoil and tragedy, seems to be a way of life. How does comfort enter into their lives?

Living in the last days is not a perfect model of comfort. Jesus told us what to expect. (Matthew 24)

The world has birthed upsets with sickness, disease, poverty, famine, governmental unrest, and man trying to change God’s order of life.

We must utilize God’s perfect gifts — our opportunity to surrender to His will, His Holiness and righteousness, His truths and warnings — along with His Spoken/ Written/ Demonstrated Word.

The world may say “Comfortless” — but The LORD says:

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:15-18.

This is the report of The LORD. God said it, I believe it — and that’s that. If you are living in a “Comfortless World,” then you are living in the wrong world.

“A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.” John 16:16.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” John 16:20-22.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.

“Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” Hebrews 13:1-3.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:5-8.
