Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:14

We live well-defined lives by expressing and exhibiting true identity in Christ Jesus. When I was a young girl growing up in church there were many fellowship programs between different churches. The home church would offer a greeting and the visiting church gave the response.

Most of the time the greeting started out with this scripture: Psalm 133:1” Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! ” Simply stated each church recognized their commonality under the unity of believers.

A life of luxury is different from a lifestyle of the rich and famous. Being persistent in the richness of an abundant life automatically makes Christians famous as children of God. Our fame exists because we are children of a King! We are rich in mercy and blessings.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:4

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

2 Peter 1:2-4

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
