National Prayer Day

We have the power to pray let use that ability today. An entire nation will be praying today from 9:00-4:00. Find time to agree with God’s word concerning our nation and the state of this world. Prayer is powerful. God’s word is powerful however; prayer and The word must join together for effectiveness.

Confessing faults simply means repenting; letting the Lord know we acknowledge our sin, weakness, need for Him, and our desire for freedom from all bondages.

Sin is a disability and disadvantage to our liberties in worshipping the Lord. There is no treasure in hiding sin because it is no secret to the Lord. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

Regardless if a person never admits wrongness, they still need prayer. Jesus prayed everywhere He was not ashamed to let people see Him crying out to the Father. Man’s inter-dependence on self is not how the Lord wants us to operate.

Our knees do many things but most importantly, they have the ability to bow giving reverence and thanksgiving to the Holy Father. Pray today for those you love, the unsaved, those pretending salvation, and for God’s love to overwhelm the world.
