Having Done “ALL” Just Stand

Life’s mysteries hold events we may never experience. Those things that we do experience can throw us for a loop. We try to wrap our minds around things we do not understand.

Too many times we make quick decisions based on our emotions which may cause us to spiral out of control. Out of control, experiences have trickling effects and they flow from one person to another.

As much as we want things to be right when they go wrong we cannot move the clock backward to say an incident did not happen. As Christian believers and any people, we must move forward in time not making a bad situation a disability or handicap.

One good thing about a bad experience is that we have opportunity to look at the replays. While watching the playbacks, what led to the problem is present along with everyone’s actions.

Some years ago a television show aired called, “Smile You Are On Candid Camera? A camera crew would follow people around with some made up scenario and captured their actions on a live setting. Every person had opportunity to see how he or she responded in an impromptu situation.

The best thing to do is a problematic situation is to draw positive feedback from a negative situation. We cannot control words and actions of others but we can be mindful of our own actions. Take a deeper look at the replays in your life. Could you have walked away? Could you have chosen to be silent and rational?

Regardless of who is right or wrong, forgiveness and healing must take place to restore trust. If you are willing to settle the matter and the other person or people are not wait on the peace of God. We can release ourselves from bondage by first forgiving ourselves for any involvement in a disastrous state of affairs. If the blow-up was not your personal responsibility be free.

Forgiveness and reconciliation may not evolve over night but when it comes do not reject God’s plan. In ALL cases of misunderstandings, make sure to take a rightful stand. Seek healing and having done all to do just stand having your loins girded with truth.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:13-18
